The summer season in London brings an electric mix of festival-based fun. Each year, an unforgettable array of events takes place in the capital, many of which are free to attend. Summer festivals are certainly one of the most exciting ways to experience this vibrant city. It is fair to say that London is a city with a lot going for it.

Indeed, with its endless array of cultural events, shopping opportunities, museums, plethora of parks, nightclubs and bars and cafes, there is something to entertain and amuse even the most intrepid of explorers. One of the festivals in London to indulge in is the UdderBelly Festival. UdderBelly is a well-known UK-based live entertainment company that runs several events and festivals across the country. During the UdderBelly Festival, you can enjoy a fun-packed festival of live acts inside a giant upside-down purple cow at UdderBelly Festival Centre.

UdderBelly Events

The UdderBelly Festival brings another vibrant season of family entertainment, music, circus and comedy over the early weeks of summer. The said festival is followed by an alternative line-up of comedy and cabaret in London Wonderground from May 5 to September 25.

  • You will surely enjoy their delicious drinks and tasty snacks that are being served at UdderBelly Pasture. Apart from this, you will surely enjoy the performances of Circa’s circus performers as they showcase their skills and talents with breathtaking acrobatics and aerial stunts.
  • You will also love the electrifying melodies of Gobsmacked as they bring their acapella show. Beatboxers and singers weave together harmonies for a tuneful trip through the history of popular music.
  • You will also love the comedy show of Paul Zerdin which is the ventriloquist and winner of America’s Got Talent. He will be performing together with his hilarious puppets. The line-up of comedians this year includes Stephen Amos, Reginald Hunter, James Acaster, Alex Edelman, Nina Conti, Felicity Ward and Hal Cruttenden.
  • Inside the giant purple cow, you will definitely love the live entertainment. Returning to the UdderBelly Festival are the alternative comic experience Comedy in the Dark, Hog and Arms, Foil and many more. Other highlights of the show include Knightmare Live, Wifi Wars and musical comedy Margaret of Soho.
  • When it comes to family Fun, there are lots of things to do for families and children.

London is also renowned for providing onlookers with a feast of live street musical performances and theater, whilst the Coin Street Festival is great for experiencing a host of different cultures from around the globe.
